Swan Lake Op. 20a: 1. Scene - Swan Theme - Tchaikovsky

Oh boy, that sure was difficult getting all that text in the title. The 'Swan Lake' ballet resonates with me for several reasons. First off: I've got a bit of a crush on Natalie Portman, so I just had to see 'Black Swan' where she plays a ballerina becoming a real life black swan:
Also, I went to the ballet once in my life, and it was a rendition of Swan Lake.
And lastly, there's this documentary on Youtube about a man building the perfect stereo system and picking out a copy of Swan Lake to finally play on it and enjoy it (see below).
It's a beautiful song, it has so much dynamic range, going from near silence to ear deafening in under a second. The rendition by the Berliner Philharmoniker under Herbert von Karajan's rule is exquisite. I've been enjoying quite a lot of his work recently (remember The Planet's recently? That one was by him as well)
