Stand My Ground - Within Temptation

Ah, Dutch Female Fronted Metal! I love this genre! Or at least, I used to, it's been a while since I've dabbled into it, but the Spotify shuffle algorithm pushed this one in my ears today, and I'm grateful for it, it's been a while since I've listened to Sharon's soothing voice.

Together with Nightwish, Epica and some others, Within Tempation was on repeat for a couple years during my teens. I listen(ed) to metal, but mostly (or only) to female fronted metal. Or as some people (my partner...) calls it: pussy metal. She's more of the heavy metal stuff.

Anyway, I'll Stand My Ground and defend beautiful voices backed with heavy guitars like this forever!
