I used to go to a lot of festivals when I was in college. I had 'connections' (talking about you Daniel!) that could get me in all the big festivals in Belgium for free, all I had to do was volunteer and be 'security' at the camping sites for the festivals. I took all the night shifts: they were mostly calm except for drunk people not being able to find their tents anymore.

A regular day would look like this: wake up at noon, tired and sweaty and stinky in a tent. Go to the festival, drink coffee and coke (and maybe 1 beer, we had to stay pretty sober as we were still going to work at night!). Enjoy the festival for free, get free food back stage, get some drinking coupons. All I had to pay for was my cigarettes, but kids: don't smoke! It's a nasty habit to get rid of, trust me, took me years, but 5 years smoke free now!

Then at midnight, go to the camping, put on one of those reflective jackets and start patrolling the camping, helping people and telling them to keep it quiet for the rest of the people until 8AM, when the sun was back up and people slowly waking up again. Then it was time for me to go to bed, and try and get some sleep in the warm and light tent.

Those were the days... At one of those festivals (Pukkelpop, don't remember which year), when I was fully immersed in DnB, I saw The Crystal Method live, and was at the front row when they cracked out this banger, right in front of the subwoofer. it surely was the heaviest drop of all time for me.
