Flashpoint - Hybrid

I love a song with a good buildup, and this track has one for the ages. It starts off with some ambient, then a voice reading lyrics and then the synths begin. Some deep bass rumbles in the background, making everything sound eerie. An orchestra joins as well, some strings, some horns and then everything goes dark, and the theme starts playing. You think the buildup is over, but it's only just begun until at 2:18 the sound becomes 'dry'. No long lingering echo's like before, but everything is compressed. Talk about a perfect way to start an album.
