Dark Chest Of Wonders - Nightwish

I can't believe we've made it over a month of daily songs and I didn't talk about Nightwish yet! When I was first discovering music, I got recommended Nightwish by some friends. And I liked what I heard. Just around that time 'Once' was about to release, so I pre-ordered the album and I vividly remember putting the CD into my portable mp3/cd player and giving this album a first listen: "Once I had a dream and this is it." BAM! Enter some heavy guitar riffs and we're off! 11 songs and 60 minutes of never ending female fronted heavy metal. Owyea! The energy emanating from this album (and this track in particular) is just epic!

Too bad after this album Tarja (the female vocalist) split from the band. In my opinion the band never would be the same again, and this album is my personal best of Nightwish. Truth be told: I still haven't listened to the last album by them... Nightwish without Tarja just isn't Nightwish in my opinion.
