Cross the Divide

Yesterday I talked about a new track from Linkin Park. Today we'll talk about a new track from Epica! I used to love every female fronted metal band when I was 14-15: Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica, ...

But it kind off faded away, I don't really listen to metal (female fronted or other) that much anymore. But I'm in a music (re)discovery phase right now, searching Spotify for albums I missed from some of my favorite bands back in the day. Nightwish has a few, but they've never been the same when Tarja Turunen left (Love you Tarja!) so I find those kind of meh.

Floor Janssen (vocals for Epica), joined Nightwish and I figured that was the end for Epica, no more time for that project. But seems I was wrong, they just released a new album and it sounds just like the good old albums that I used to love and listen to back in the day. The new album sounds just like Consign to Oblivion (my favorite album from them!), it rocks hard, very hard, and keeps rocking hard the entire album long.
