Another Day Of Sun - La La Land Cast

This one makes me instantly happy. The intro of the 2016 musical film 'La La Land', where the morning traffic jam turn into a traffic 'jam'. If this track turns up into my playlist, it makes me happy. It also always reminds me that for some reason the version that is used in movies is somehow always mastered differently (and mostly better) than what is available on streaming/cd. The breakdown part where the back of the van opens up and there's a band playing from the back sounds so much deeper in the movie than in the streaming/cd version.

There's some more examples of this: the credits for The Hobbit "I See Fire", sounds much better on the movie than on the album. All the James Bond intro songs (including the Britney Spears ones, did I mention I'm a James Bond fan? Also: we'll get to Britney Spears soon, she has some great music and there's some great covers out there that I would like to share).

So back to Another Day Of Sun. Little fun fact: they actually used a part of LA interstate for this and blocked it off during filming. All of that for another day of sun
